LIFE ON MARS

Night.

An amateur astronomer is looking into his telescope.

Close-up of an arid, deserted landscape.

The astronomer looks up from the telescope and glimpses a naked woman undressing in a window close by.

Quickly he picks up a pair of binoculars and trains them on the window.

He can’t quite get her in focus.

His son looks into the big telescope, moves it a bit and refocusses on a staggeringly beautiful Martian woman undressing.

SON: Dad…

ASTRONOMER (busy with his binoculars): What?

The astronomer finally gets focus: but too late. He looks at another window. A revolting man in a vest is cleaning his teeth.

Meanwhile the son sees the Martian woman take off all her clothes.

SON: Dad…

The Martian woman picks up her clothes and disappears behind a rock.

ASTRONOMER: What?

The Astronomer puts his binoculars down and walks over.

SON (looking up from the big telescope): Nah. Nothing.

Son wanders off. Astronomer looks into the big telescope. Close up of arid, deserted landscape.
